Email Setup

Choose your device below, we'll walk you through the setup. Don't worry, it's easy.

NOTE: If you are setting up your new email prior to the new site going live, you will receive connection errors. These errors will go away once you begin to receive email on the new server.

General Settings

Android - Samsung Galaxy

  • Step 1

    From within the phone's settings tab, go to the Email Accounts page, choose to add an email using the "Others" option.

  • Step 2

    Enter your email and password and choose manual setup.

  • Step 3

    Choose POP3.

    Note: POP3 saves a copy of your email to each device you connect with. IMAP connects directly to the server and does not download a copy. For space reasons we recommend using POP3.

  • Step 4

    For the incoming settings please use your full email address as the username, use host.ave25.com as the server name and set the Security Type as SSL. The port should set automatically to 995.

  • Step 5

    For the outgoing settings please use your full email address as the username, use host.ave25.com as the server name and set the Security Type as SSL. The port should set automatically to 465.

  • Finished!

    That's it, just click through the finishing steps and you are good to go. If we haven't switched your site to the new server, you may get a connection error message. Otherwise get to sending!

Apple - iPhone

  • Step 1

    From the Mail, Contacts, Calendars page within your phone's settings, choose to Add Account.

  • Step 2

    When adding an account, choose "Other"

  • Step 3

    Under MAIL, choose "Add Mail Account"

  • Step 4

    Enter your Name, Email, Password and an optional Description (i.e. Work, ABC Home Health, yourdomain.com, etc.)

  • Step 5

    Be sure to use POP for the email type. For your server settings please use your full email address as the username, use host.ave25.com as the server name and enter your password.

    Note: POP3 saves a copy of your email to each device you connect with. IMAP connects directly to the server and does not download a copy. For space reasons we recommend using POP3.

  • Step 6

    You may now be able to send and receive mail. However, to ensure the best setup, click on "Mail" and then "Preferences", in the specific account settings, click on advanced.

  • Step 7

    In the Incoming Settings section, make sure you are using SSL on server port 995. Also make sure your other settings match the image to the left.

  • Step 8

    On the previous screen, click on the Outgoing Mail Server.

  • Step 9

    In the Primary Server section, click on "host.ave25.com"

  • Step 10

    In the Outgoing Mail Server section, make sure you are using SSL on server port 465. Also make sure your other settings match the image to the left.

  • Finished!

    That's it, just click through the finishing steps and you are good to go. If we haven't switched your site to the new server, you may get a connection error message. Otherwise get to sending!

Apple - Mail App

  • Step 1

    Once you have the Mail app open, click "Mail" and then "Add Account"

  • Step 2

    For the Mail account provider, choose "Other Mail Account"

  • Step 3

    Enter your Name, Email, Password and click "Sign In"

  • Step 4

    Enter your information, using host.ave25.com for the mail servers and POP as the account type. Once done, click on "Sign In"

    Note: POP3 saves a copy of your email to each device you connect with. IMAP connects directly to the server and does not download a copy. For space reasons we recommend using POP3.

  • Step 5

    Once this has been completed, you may be able to send and receive mail. To ensure the best setup, click on "Mail" and then "Preferences"

  • Step 6

    On the left side, choose your newly setup account. Please ensure all the information is correct, you must be using your full email address as the username. Once complete, click on "Advanced"

  • Step 7

    On the Advanced tab, use port 995 for the incoming server, also check the box to use SSL.

  • Step 8

    Back on the advanced Information tab, click on the Outgoing Mail Server dropdown and select "Edit SMTP Server List"

  • Step 9

    Use port 465 for the outgoing server and check the box to use SSL.

  • Finished!

    That's it, just click through the finishing steps and you are good to go. If we haven't switched your site to the new server, you may get a connection error message. Otherwise get to sending!

Microsoft - Outlook 2007

  • Step 1

    Once you have Outlook open under "Tools" click on "Account Settings"

  • Step 2

    Click on "New"

  • Step 3

    Make sure the first option is selected and click on "Next"

  • Step 4

    Enter your Name, Email, Password and check the box in the lower left for manual configuration. Click Next.

  • Step 5

    Choose the first option and click next.

  • Step 6

    Enter your information, using host.ave25.com for the mail servers. Once done, click on "More Settings"

  • Step 7

    On the Outgoing Server tab, check the box for "requires authentication"

  • Step 8

    On the Advanced tab, use port 995 for the incoming server, also check the box to use SSL. Use port 465 for the outgoing server and use SSL for the encrypted connection type. You should also remove all mail from the server after 10 days.

  • Finished!

    That's it, just click through the finishing steps and you are good to go. If we haven't switched your site to the new server, you may get a connection error message. Otherwise get to sending!

Microsoft - Outlook 2013

  • Step 1

    Once you have Outlook open, click the blue "File" button. On this page click account settings, then the account settings drop down.

  • Step 2

    Click on "New"

  • Step 3

    Enter your Name, Email, Password and then check the box in the lower left for manual configuration. Click Next.

  • Step 4

    Choose "POP or IMAP".

  • Step 5

    Enter your information, using host.ave25.com for the mail servers. Once done, click on "More Settings"

  • Step 6

    On the Outgoing Server tab, check the box for "requires authentication"

  • Step 7

    On the Advanced tab, use port 995 for the incoming server, also check the box to use SSL. Use port 465 for the outgoing server and use SSL for the encrypted connection type. You should also remove all mail from the server after 14 days.

  • Finished!

    That's it, just click through the finishing steps and you are good to go. If we haven't switched your site to the new server, you may get a connection error message. Otherwise get to sending!
